Samsung has set a date for the launch of the new phone

Samsung announced that it will introduce new and innovative devices in San Francisco on February 11 as part of the Unpacked event, with the expectation that it will unveil its new foldable phone along with a new version of the Model S.

The move comes as the world's largest smartphone company seeks to maintain its leadership in the 5G and 5G foldable phone markets, as competitors plan to catch up in emerging and growing sectors.

In a teaser, Samsung alluded to two phones, one similar to the square and the other to a rectangle, and the company had revealed in October the new concept of the foldable phone, which is folded vertically like the old phones.

Samsung launched its first foldable phone called the Galaxy Fold, which is folded horizontally, in September after five months of delay caused by screen problems.

The company is expected to announce three Galaxy S11 phones instead of four, all of which support 5G networks, and while the new phones are supposed to be called the S11, rumors have made it clear that the Galaxy S20 can be used.

The next generation of its Galaxy Fold 2 foldable phone may also appear in the Unpacked event, and in case the company manages to solve the issues that led to the first Galaxy Fold pause, the new model may be able to reach the hands of users on time.
