Facebook pledged to make the application simpler and less confused, as the application was simplified and brought back to its primary role as a practical messaging app, and part of this process is by removing all business-focused elements from the app that do not serve users.
In the new design, Facebook is promoting the “People” section where you can see the large squares for friends who have recently updated their Facebook stories, as well as an organized contact list to promote the most used and online contacts at the same moment.
