Asus ROG 3 is coming with 16 GB memory





The Chinese regulatory agency (TENAA) has published detailed specifications, along with some computer-modeled images, of the upcoming ASUS ROG gaming phone, the third smartphone in the ASUS ROG series, and this comes after an Asus official explained The company plans to release the phone sometime next month.

In February, Qualcomm published a list of smartphones that feature a Snapdragon 865 processor, and this list included (ASUS ZenFone 7) and (ASUS ROG 3), which allowed to know that Asus will use the most powerful Snapdragon chipsets on the market.

Previous information also indicated that (ASUS ROG 3) will come earlier with (Google Stadia), and will support a number of (ROG) game features, including Aura lighting, refresh rate control, performance improvement and also accessories, such as (View Dock) and (Kunai) Gamepad).

ASUS ROG 3 has a very similar design to the ASUS ROG 2, as the upcoming phone features a similar rectangular shape and a horizontal camera on the back.

Similar to the ASUS ROG 2 phone, the ASUS ROG 3 will not have a bump or hole, and there is an additional camera at the back that can be a 13-megapixel telephoto camera, and the main camera appears to have been upgraded to a 64-megapixel sensor.

The phone also gets a color bar (Aura RGB) that lights up the (ROG) logo, with the power button and volume buttons on the right side, while the USB Type-C port can be seen on the left side.

The TENAA specification list reveals that the phone has a shared port with a charger, which means that the lower USB Type-C port acts as an audio port, and ASUS ROG 3 appears to have dual front-facing speakers like the previous generation (ASUS ROG 2) ).

The phone comes with an AMOLED screen measuring 6.59 inches with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, and there is a fingerprint scanner integrated under the screen, although the list of specifications (TENAA) does not indicate the refresh rate, but it is likely that ASUS ROG 3 will support a rate Refresh at least 120 Hz.

(ASUS ROG 2) was available in two models, the exclusive China Tencent, with 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, global model with 12 GB RAM, and 512 GB internal storage.

ASUS ROG 3 is likely to be one of the most powerful Android smartphones on the market upon its release, as the TENAA specification list indicates a Snapdragon 865 processor with an operating frequency of up to 3.091GHz.

The “X-Mode” feature may also reappear, allowing users to enable CPU and GPU tuning status for high performance.

The specification list states that the maximum RAM capacity is 16 GB, which is assumed to be of type (LPDDR5), which makes (ASUS ROG 3) the next Android smartphone after (Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra) and (Nubia Red Magic 5G) It contains 16 GB of RAM.

The available storage will be 128, 256 or 512 GB (UFS 3.0), and according to specifications, the phone is powered by a huge battery with a capacity of 5800 mA, and will support the feature of fast wired charging with a capacity of 30 watts.

Given that Asus has included (Snapdragon 865) in the new phone, this means that the device will support (5G NR) connection thanks to a modem (Snapdragon X55).
