How can you transfer data from the Signal app when switching to a new iPhone?

The Signal app for iPhone users can transfer account data, including conversation history from the old iPhone to the new, safely using encryption technology (end-to-end), this feature comes to maintain the privacy of users and not lose any information when switching.

The developers of the application say in a post on the official website: The new process is an attempt to find a balance between comfort and security, as it uses the QR code generated by the old iPhone in the communication process, and confirms the start of the transfer between the two phones.

After that, your devices establish a direct connection to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth if Wi-Fi is not available, and transfer your data over your local network without the data passing through a third-party cloud server, and since the transfer is done locally it can be completed quickly .

The new feature allows iPhone users to speed, comfort and maintain privacy, and the communication between the two devices will be encrypted with technology (end-to-end).
