Qualcomm launches Snapdragon 690 processor for middle phones



Qualcomm revealed today its latest middle-class processors within the category Snapdragon 600, and the new processor is characterized above all by its support for the fifth generation networks using the X51 modem despite its low price and targeting medium phones.

Technically, the new processor will support the operation of screens at a frequency of up to 120Hz, this while it will support shooting video with a resolution of up to 4K, but it is up to the phone manufacturer to fully support these features or not. The processor also supports HDR and HDR10 + screen technologies as well as Quick Charge 4.0+.

As we know, the first phone that comes with the new processor will be Nubia Z17, while this processor will work accurately manufacturing 8 nm of quality LLP for Samsung! The processor offers two core cores of the latest Cortex A77 at the frequency of 2.0GHz and in terms of performance, it offers higher performance than the Snapdragon 675 processor of course and less than 730 by a very small difference.
