In a new interview with Simon Rutter, the PlayStation Administrator in Europe via theguardian, Simon reaffirmed the importance of exclusives to Sony and talked about the upcoming racing game Gran Turismo 7:
Exclusives are very important, more important than ever to us. PlayStation Studios have the ability to exploit all the capabilities of our devices and this is a positive feature that the platform owner owns. Playstation can count on development teams to embody the innovation we're trying to do by fully exploiting hardware capabilities. When exclusives are as important as titles like Spider-Man and Horizon, they're important titles people want to play with.
Gran Turismo 7 will use every feature of PlayStation 5. Download times will be nothing compared to the past. Sitting in the cockpit will allow the 3D sound to bring you the effects of a roaring Ferrari engine behind you, and driving through the DualSense controller will give you a sense of the difference in road roughness and pavement. Even pressing the acceleration button will be very different from pressing the brakes violently.
