US tech giant Nvidia has called on its fans to use the great technical power of their personal computers to fight the Corona Virus (COVID-19) declared by the World Health Organization as a global epidemic, by downloading and activating the folding @ home application.
This distributed application is devoted to medical research on diseases and was originally developed by a laboratory at Stanford University in America in cooperation with huge companies such as Nvidia and Sony and launched in the year 2000, this program distributes simulation functions on the participating devices that apply these Functions and returns the results to the application's data center, which is aimed through simulations to better understand the behavior of the virus and help find a cure for it.
