Google integrates "meet" in "Gmail" for mobile devices

Google announced today, Tuesday, the availability of its Meet (video) Meet (mobile) conference service for mobile devices, in a new step to enhance its presence in a market that witnessed tremendous growth during the outbreak of the Coronary Virus Outbreak (COVID-19).

“With video calls turning into an integral part of our lives, we had made Google Meet free for everyone last month, and we also wanted it for the web version of Gmail,” said a blog post. Today, we enable (Meet) Gmail in Android and iOS, so you can easily join meetings from your inbox. ”

Google added that during the coming weeks, a new tab for the (Meet) service will appear in the Gmail application, where the user can see upcoming meetings scheduled in Google Calendar, and then join them with one click.

On the (Meet) tab, you can click the New meeting option to start meeting immediately, create a meeting link to share, or schedule a meeting in the calendar. By clicking on the Join with a code option, the user can join the meetings that he or she was sharing with by entering the meeting code.

If the user does not want to display the (Meet) service as a tab in the Gmail application, he can cancel it by going to the settings, then entering the account settings, then selecting the option to cancel (Meet).
