Google Maps now lets you listen to YouTube music while traveling

Google Maps adds support for YouTube music, giving users the ability to listen to their playlists while browsing from an Android mobile phone.

To set YouTube Music as the default multimedia app, just go to Settings, scroll to Navigation Settings and select this option. You'll see all the apps available, and if you already have the latest Google Maps update, you'll find YouTube Music listed.

Once you select the app, you will have to grant the corresponding permissions to operate and control your YouTube Music account from Google Maps. Upon completion of the process, you will already have to configure YouTube as the default application, so when you enter the navigation mode in Google Maps you will see its icon on the screen.
If you want to listen to music, just select the icon and you will have a mini player with multimedia controls. Without leaving Google Maps, you can see a list of the last nine albums or songs you've listened to on YouTube Music.
The prerequisite for this dynamic is that the user has an excellent YouTube Music account. If you don't have a premium account right now, don't worry, you can choose Spotify as the default multimedia app, because it works without problems for all of its users.
